> Definately stay here if you are visiting Monterey and it's vicinity. The hotel is located right of the highway and is very easy to find. It is also directly on the beach, with no other buildings around it. The beach is clean, safe, and even has a lifeguard most of the time. The rooms are a little out dated, but not dirty or run-down. The pool is wonderful for if you have children. It is in a beautiful sheltered area with a jacuzzi also. It is wonderful going to the huge open lobby in the mornings where you can order hot chocolate, coffee, bagels, fruit, and other breaktfast items and then sit in the chairs and watch dolphins in the waves through the huge glass windows. Not to mention this hotel is very cheap for its great location and wonderful amenities and atmosphere. My family and I travel to Monterey about 5 times a year and every time we stay here.
