Rick from SCV Lock & Key insisted he could come by my house today after business hours to rekey my storage room (kitties potty room) that I shut and locked but have no key for-- to keep my cats safe overnight until the garage people come to fix the door that is broken and will not go down. Not only did this man replace my lock with a deadbolt (so I cannot ever make this mistake again) at no additional charge, but he stayed here for over 2 hours to help me get the garage door down enough so no wildlife could get in. Using his own tools and supplies, he tied it all down  nice and snug.  He was soaking wet as the temps were in the 90's in the garage.This is the America I so fondly remember. People helping people, caring about your neighbor and community members and their well being.  I am so touched by what this man did to help me when I thought I was at the end of my rope today. We need to get back to this kind of America.
