Do not go here unless you want to lose your teeth! This lady is money hungry and lacks the knowledge and skills needed to practice orthodontics. This lady literally messed up my teeth. I came here because I wanted my teeth fixed with braces and a retainer. Long story short I had been going to her every month for three years and still wearing braces with very little progress. I spent more time sitting in the dentist chair waiting for someone to work on me than they actually worked on my mouth. Every month I would be there for a minimum of two hours and had maybe 10 minutes total of work done on me. You will practically never see Dr. Noor, if you're lucky she may walk in for a minute to tell her students what to do. Her students don't know anything! They spend 45 minutes simply changing the bands around my brackets which can be done in 5 minutes by someone that actually knows what they are doing. Dr. Noor said that the cost of my braces, extractions, cleaning and retainer would cost $14,000!! After asking about why I was still wearing braces even after Dr. Noor said that I would have braces on for a maximum of three years, the receptionist said that its because they were not going to do any work on me till I paid the account in full. They said that unless I paid the remaining balance of $10,000, I would have to keep my braces on until I paid everything. Having braces on for longer than three years is unheard of and is not recommended as this can cause tooth decay and other problems. Plus she is definitely overcharging for her malpractice. So I told them that I would no longer be returning nor receiving any services from them. So I went to another dentist/orthodontist for a consult still with my braces from Dr. Noor. They took xrays and examined my mouth. They took off the wires to get an impression of my teeth to further access my mouth and plan their treatment. They said that my brackets had been improperly placed way too low which caused the nerve from my front tooth to completely break and die requiring a root canal because it was no longer viable. MY FRONT TOOTH is permanently discolored and will require veneers or a crown. Also Dr. Noor uses the outdated technique of placing bands around my back teeth which were way too big which can cause tooth erosion because food will get stuck in there. When Dr. Noor had extracted four of my teeth to make space to help get rid of my overbite she did not place the brackets and wire properly so seen on an xray my teeth moved in crooked which my new orthodontist said may or not be fixable. Dr. Noor used too much glue to hold the brackets together which is unnecessary, unattractive and may cause discoloration. Also, to tighten my braces, (when they rarely ever did) they would simply twist the wire and leave the excess wire there without cutting which is unprofessional and uncomfortable for patients. Unfortunately, I did not come across Yelp or researched Dr. Noor's license prior to having her work on my teeth. This would have saved my dental health, time, money and now trouble. Dr. Noor had her license suspended in the past for overcharging insurance companies for services that were never rendered. I called to ask for a copy of my medical records and the receptionist said "let me see if we can do that?' By law I have the right to my medical records at any time. Then she said that I would have to pay $25.00 per page of my record. This is completely unheard of, unprofessional and illegal.
