> There was a change of ownership about 4 years ago and it is for the betterI suspect that the old owner wa burned out. So far there has been a lot of improvement in the service and attitude. We need a local hardware store this store has good management now.

> BUYER BE AWARE!!!I purchased a pair of pliers that their employee picked out at 10:50am.  I went back to the store around 2:30pm and wanted to exchange them.  I was told they didn't take back tools.  The cashier stated that the person that rang me should have told me that, and written on the receipt, no returns.   Which neither happened.  I wanted to exchange them for another item at a higher cost and asked to speak to a manager.  The lady that I spoke to was very rude and said I couldn't exchange them.  I stated I would just dispute it with my credit card company.  She said that didn't matter and they would dispute it and I would lose.  I walked out to my car and 3 employees followed me out and took my picture, front and back picture of my license plate.  They treated me like I was a criminal.  Ii'LL NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN AND GIVE THEM ANY OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY.After I placed a complaint with Ace Hardware I received a call from someone name Jenny that was rude, and wasn't willing to take back pliers.  I asked her how to spell her name for my records and her reply was to look it up.
