> Western medicine is not always the route to take when one is looking for cures. I’ve suffered from extreme thigh, leg and foot cramps for such a long time and my Western doctors could not help me with any of their recommendations. I had tried acupuncture twice in my life and found it interesting but these treatments were not the cure. However, I met Jacquelyn Byrd and I found out she was an acupuncturist who planned on opening an office in Pacific Grove. We went our separate ways and through a friend, who was seeing her told me about this new Acupuncturist in Pacific Grove. I was very interested and I made an appointment and it was Jacquelyn. I told her of my cramping and she began treatments and they have been working. What I like most is she talks to you about what she is doing and gives you historical tidbits regarding the techniques, which I also like. The other acupuncturist I visited barely spoke and when asked a question, barely replied. She has a great bedside manner. She just doesn’t do the needles; she has other procedures and techniques all of which I have benefited from of few used on me. I really love the Chinese massage (Tweena [sp?]) because I can feel her working her energies into relieving my pain. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants healing and relief via traditional Chinese medicine.
