> To spend an evening at Nick's is a true delight of the senses. The atmosphere is from a by gone era, you expect Frank or Dean to stroll in momentarily. Savor a cocktail in the lounge, complete with bandstand and dance floor. A window booth in the dining room will give you a command performance of crashing serf. Prepare for a lengthy menu contemplation, as it is filled with delightful choices, that can be enjoyed either as ala' carte or in their marvelous entirety. The staff welcomes you into their warm, fragrant world and you become an instant member of the family. They are ready to dote upon you as an Italian Grandmother would.I come over 1,200 miles every year to ponder the cuisine available, teasing my palate, before ordering my usual and all time favorite. Scalone. Delicate scallops and abalone beaten together and sauted in butter and mouth watering herbs. Heavenly. Do yourself a favor, shut off your cell phone and allow yourself to enjoy a respite from an overactive lifestyle.
