First off my sister asked for a nail repair and the lady used her natural nail to try and pop off almost a full nail of acrylic. My sister pretty much jumped out of her seat causing water to splash everywhere. She did not even soak the acrylic and then try to remove the nail. My sister only wanted a color change so she just asked the lady to paint her nails, she did not know how to paint nails. The nails were streaky. so my sister decided nevermind she doesnt need any services. Then with my manicure i decided to go with a more soft pink and asked the gentleman to get one for me, and my sister tried to assist him in the right direction but he did not want to listen to her. He turned around and rolled his eyes. So my sister went and got the polish and gave it to him and said this is not baby pink this is candy color. WTH! Obviously he is color blind because it def was the soft pink i was looking for. The next day i noticed my finger starting to hurt and as the days went by the pain got worse. Turns out i received a cuticle infection. I called the salon to let them know and they said this is the first time this had happened. But little did they know my sister is a hair stylist in the area and she just so happened to have someone in her chair whose friend had a similar situation from the same salon a couple weeks prior. So i DO NOT RECOMMEND this place!!!!!!! *1/11/2011 via Direct* --- **calimom2** - 1/5 > I went into the VIP room got my nails done with three other girls. when i got home i already noticed that my nails were chipped or they used watered down polish.. .i called back that day and told them . they told me to come back in. i couldnt make it. so then by monday i noticed that 4 of my toes were chipped. i called back and the lady told me that she would have to see if it was them or something i did to them because they dont know what i did to my feet. this place was horrible i do not recommened this place to anyone. HORRIBLE!!! I agree with other posters who says that they have had problems with booking and rude reception and owners. I also agree that Tara does the best mani/pedi around the area. The quality of work is terrible since the employees are not happy. The main person (manager/owner) was very inconsiderate to me and my daughter. I take my daughter (age 4) to salons w/ me all the time. She always sits on my lap and just waits for her turn to get her nails painted. The woman told me that my appointment was only for me and that She's not supposed to have her nails painted w/o a separate appt. We just happen to go to this place since we were shopping in the area. I think I will still drive out of my way to my regular salon. If one of their employees left, the customer was never notified and would replace with one of their other workers (and not at the scheduled appointment time). They have a very high employee turn over rate. They don't treat their emplyees right or their customers.
