The office person told my mother a cleaning would be $100. She agreed and made an appointment. When she arrived the dental assistant TOLD my mother that the first thing they were going to do was an x-ray. My mother told her she just had five doses of radiation and didn’t want to do that. Next the dental assistant explained an irrigation to my mother and she declined. Then the  dental assistant started getting irritated  with my mom, each time going back and talking with the dentist. She told the assistant that she was just there for a teeth cleaning.  After a 10 MINUTE cleaning, my mom asked how much she was being charged and the assistant went back to talk to the dentist and came back and told my mom the charge was $200. My mom told the assistant that she was told on the telephone that it was supposed to be approximately $100. The assistant told my mom that was a special that was run last week. Why would the dental office schedule her appointment for after the special was over?It was a bait and switch up sell. My mom will never return.","rating":1,"date_published":"2019-15-09"}]}
