Was told a rebuilding may be more likely and around $1500.-$1800.so I said do it (cheaper than finding and buying another hard to find 4 cyl extended cab). Received call this A.M. truck ready, no transmission rebuilding needed as previous owner had installed wrong size filter which had fallen off. Full transmission service with parts $140.00! Honest and honorable shop. You can trust these people. This could have been so ugly. They checked the fluid and test drove it and explained what was wrong with my transmission. They then found a bulletin from the Honda dealer that explained there was en extended warranty on my vehicle's transmission They then called the dealer for me to make sure it was covered yes it was was I gald Nor-Cal Transmission did not charge me a penny and the dealer installed a new transmission for me at no charge I had just purchaed the van 2 months ago and could not afford to repair the transmission I am so lucky that I went to Nor-Cal Transmission instead of another shop that would not have told me about the bulletin or would not have had the information to look up the updated bulletins on repairs that are covered under the dealers Again THANK YOU Nor-Cal Transmission Service You are the bestStan *2/11/2008 via Direct* --- **dodge6x6** - 5/5 > I had visited several local transmission shops, until a friend told me about Nor-Cal Transmission Service. From the time I walked in the door they were very helpful and friendly. They explained several options regarding the repair of my dodge transmission. My transmission has never worked better, even when I purchased the truck new. They are very professional and their shop was the cleanest one I had ever seen.
