> I'm a frequent diner at Denny's.  We dine at Denny's 7284 once a month.  Over my past few visits, I've noticed a decline in service, my perception is that it's due to poor scheduling.  Monday I dined with 3 of my family.  3 asked for water upon arrival, the fourth coffee.  During our meal, the 1 which ordered coffee received 3 refills, 1 requested hot tea.  The other 2 of us NEVER got a refill of our water.  After the server dropped off our check, He sat down in the dining room & ate a meal.  During this time, there was no one on the floor to serve, & we weren't checked on for 20 minutes.  I looked around to see if I could request a refill & was not noticed or acknowledged.  After cleaning his own table, he stopped to ask the coffee drinker if a refill was needed, & at the negative response, rushed away before I could ask for water.  We all promptly got up & paid our check & left no tip.  It is not acceptable that once a check is dropped off that no service be given.
