> Dr. Galitz is a minimalist and he doesn't care what his patient thinks, wants, or feels she needs.  He will deliver the minimum amount of care possible.  He will order the fewest amount of tests possible.  He will spend the least amount of time listening to you. He almost NEVER will order expensive things like MRIs or CAT scans.  He relies on age profiling and Kaiser protocols almost exclusively, rather than the direct evidence of a medical exam.  These can be the trade-offs of the HMO model...
