> We have enjoyed meals at Anchors FIsh and Chips for many years.  They offer a variety of meals, including fish, chicken, shrimp, etc. that are reasonably priced.  The portions are always large--in fact, when we order a two-piece fish meal, they always give at least two full-sized pieces and a third piece that is a little smaller.  Even though their fish is deep-fried, it never tastes greasy.  We also enjoy both their coleslaw and tempura vegetables.

> The ambiance of the restaurant was good. The waiter's were informative and attentive. Overall the food was good. I ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna which was decent. There was too much pepper on it. I would have like a different seasoning. The rice underneath was decent. Nothing too extraordinary but I had a good time

> This place (like many others) boasts "London Style" Fish & Chips. Its product(s) is/are ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like London fish & chips. They serve strips of battered fish (of which is not Cod, as primarily used in London). In London you also get a generous portion of a Cod filet...not a small strip. The "chips" are not London style either! They are merely shoestring fries! In London you get big chunks...aka Chips of potatoes. Avoid this place at all cost if its London Style fish & chips you are looking for! FOOTNOTE: employees there can barely speak English so it is difficult to have a dialog; if only to ask about their "fish & chips" being not quite as they advertise.
