Recently she is prone to falling while trying to reach the bathroom in the middle of the night.  The last three times she has fallen there were no devices to call for help.  The devices given do not work.  Staff is usually in the break room ignoring the verbal yells for help.  She has been transported to the hospital twice now as by the time she is found on the floor her bruising is very visible and she is in pain.  We have asked for the staff reports of the incident(s) and they do not exist.  The staff will lie to you.  The administrator is in way over her head.  She usually claims to be uninformed of the incidents. When first walk in it smells very bad. There were garbage around the whole facility i seen staff not working. Residents were screaming for help. Now there were a few people that were working but  when i saw a resident getting verbally abused by another resident I quickly changed my mind about my mother staying here. I dont want her to neglected. I asked the young lady a few questions. The main question I asked her  \"Does it always smell like this?\" she said no. but i could always tell when a person is lying. I seen the rooms and they were decent but they smelled the carpets were all stained inside the rooms and out. As I came out of the room it looked as though these residents werent happy.  i would never mover her here There were hardly any staff on duty. it was just a \"nasty  facility\". There were residents that were screaming for help and noone came to help the poor lady. The carpets were all stained and when they show me the eating area it look like I walked into the 70's. I even had a resident tell me the care was horrible and they ignore them. To think I was going to move my father in that sad place called assist living, it looks more like neglect livin. I'm suprisrd cops havint shut dem down","rating":1,"date_published":"2011-04-10"},{"author_name":"jelaica","review_text":"not a good place to work.. start with 8 to 8.50 dollars it says assisted living.. but the work worst than nursing home...too many people has hepatitis c and other some sort of diseases that can easily spread... and a lot of people that are brown noser..but the boss doesnt even know that those brown noser are talking bad stuff about her on her back.. never gonna get a raise unless uyour brown noser.. caregiver needs to changed peoples catheter and other jobs that the caregiver not supposed to do and also alot of medication are always missing .... and if you worked here your gonna have a lot of bosses .. starting in office,kitchen even other caregivers acting like a boss.. a lot of dreamers in herenot a good place also to live..  alot of diseases too many resident but only few caregivers... so when somebody needs help and the caregiver where late the resident will get mad on caregivers and also the b0ss.. during knock shift sometimes only one caregiver is on duty.. so sad :( if u think that i am not telling the truth... ask some of the resident..","rating":1,"date_published":"2011-02-09"}]}
