> this place has horrible customer service. They absolutely LIE about delivery times and how long it will take to get your furniture. They say 7-10 days but they really mean a month! I will never give this company another dime of my money ever again and you shouldnt either!

> I thought i was getting a fairly good deal from this store until I saw a commercial that offered a Free T.V. with the purchase of $1,000 or more. I made a purchase of 2,000 dollars and the I should have been given a T.V. or at least offered the option of the T.V. I called management and I was told that since I got a discount on the furniture that I did not qualify for the T.V. explained that the furniture was on sale and that the only reason why I had a further discount was because the salesman had ordered me furniture that was discontinued. I would not have even known it was discontinued if I would not have called to see if It had arrived early. I ordered it March 20, 2011 and it was already April 6, 2011 and no word. Anyways the owner/manager Hector refused to give me the advertised T.V. and he said that I would have to purchase my items at full price in order to get the T.V. which did not make any since since the items were on sale actually clearance. The commercial did not state anything about clearance or sale items being excluded. I spent 2 grand but the management refused to honor their own advertisements.  They just lost a customer for life. I always buy ashley furniture because of the quality and price but I can order and purchase Ashley furniture products from the Navy Exchange or the BX/PX for the same price or less and tax free. Also if the exchange has a sale they honor it. I  paid cash for my merchandise and I also wanted to buy a living room, dining room and childrens' room from this store but they have lost me as a customer.  Good Job Hector and Brad!OBTW I tried to cancel my order after I was denied the T.V. and they tried to charge me a 30% fee to cancel it! Wow what a way to treat a customer.I'm going to let all my friends/co workers and the world know how badly I was treated as a customer at Ashley furniture in Salinas

> First let just say that I am aware  Ashley is a chain and should of really looked into taking the time to review this company. The quality of furniture is POOR... I can't get over how crapy the furniture is. I am also aware that furniture purchashed at this store is order and shipped from the maker of furniture. But here is the catch the CUSTOMER COMES FIRST... so all that actions are in the responsiblility  from the staff. Mangers came off like they were to busy or just did not want to deal with the complaint. As for  the help totally BOMBED in that too! I SO REGRET EVER DEALING WITH A PLACE THAT SUCKED ALL AROUND!!!! I will be sure to warn any FRIENDS or STRANGERS of the worst business I ever had come across... CUSTOMERS BEWARE OF ASHLEY FURNTURE.....
