> The BBQ was ok but not great ...sides were even worse !! Service was ok but they were out of over half there beer list.let's jus say famous Dave's is wayy better and a lot less expensive.

> THE MEAT WAS GOOD THERE SIDES FOR THE MEALS THEY REALLY NEED MY BLACK GRANDMA TO TEACH THEM HOW TO MAKE SOME BAKE BEANS AND SOME HOMEMADE POTATO SALAD BUT ON THE REAL THERE "PRICES" ARE WAYYY TO HIGH AND THEY REALLY NEED TO SHOOT THERE DECORATOR BIG TIME!!!,YOU NEED TO MAKE THAT CALL TO RESTAURANT IMPOSSIBLE!!!

> This place was AWESOME!!!  I went there the first time to dine in and the food was hot, fresh and, delicious!!  I got food to go today and it was equally as good. I had the order of 6 ribs and 2 sides, beans and potato salad.  Every part of my meal was FRESH, hot where it should be and cold where it should be.  I commend this place for not having old food being reheated for days on end,most BBQ places do and that's fine if you are'nt charging top dollar for your food and Salinas City is and it's totally worth it!!!  I saw that there was only one other online review of this restaurant and I had to say something.  When it comes to BBQ there really is only one factor that will make or break you...FRESHNESS OF PRODUCT.  The only other review I saw of this restaurant said that this was the place to come for leftovers....no kiddin pal, you were just the last to hear about how good the food is here!!!  Great Job Salinas City BBQ!!!  You made this Texas transplant happy!!!
