It was a stupid move, I know, but at the time I didn't think that I was too intoxicated to drive. I'd only had a few drinks but hadn't eaten much that day, so as I was driving home the cocktails hit me. No excuses. I was pulled over while driving down Imperial Ave in San Diego, the officer asked me how much I had to drink. I told him, he asked me to step out of the car, and then breathalyzer-ed me. I failed and was arrested (thankfully my sister picked up my car so it wasn't towed!). I had been charged with selling cocaine, and I really thought it was over for me. Selling narcotics is a serious charge, and my family wanted to get the best defense attorney they could find in San Diego. I felt that someone tried to set me up because believe me I'm not a dealer. David laid out my chances and told me that it was actually pretty good, but that he wasn't going to make any guarantees. He could do a lot for me, as long as I followed his advice and didn't do anything to hurt my case. Of course, I was eager to get his help since I knew about his reputation. I was prepared for everything, and let him handle everything. I wasn't about to ruin a good thing, and I know how lucky I was to have him on my side.
