Our son has a trach and he needs suctioning from his 'portable' suction. Well this machine Life Care Solutions gave us only worked for 2 suctions in a car ride that was 18 minutes to the San Diego Rady Childrens Hospital. Our son was vomiting so much that it was getting into his trach stoma and he was aspirating vomit and needed suctioning. It stopped working and our son started turning blue. We were almost there so we gunned it to the ED, my son is alive but this could've been prevented with better equipment. We trusted these folks. Portable means portable. We found out the machine and it's battery weren't suppose to be given out, they were suppose to be decommissioned. Sounds like the whole company and it's terrible customer service needs to be decommissioned. This company is what's wrong with the private sector. Every time I need to order supplies I have to make a half dozen calls and they never call me back. The employees are either totally incompetent or do not care. Get a signature on a delivery bill.  They have no interest in making sure it's what the patient needs. They spend no time with patients to evaluate, fit or ensure what they are delivering works.  As long as they can get a signature and bill your insurance, their work is done.They have no professionalism at all. Their management have no understanding of what their staff even do, as long as they make their quotas.If you have ANY any choice for durable medical equipment, take it.","rating":1,"date_published":"2013-27-04"}]}
