They are part of my Insurance network, so I hoped to get a decent treatment. On my first appointment I was seen by Dr. Henry Yang. He was brush, but he sounded competent and - although I had the feeling that he wasn\\'t really listening to my concern about my insurance not covering everything he wanted to do - he gave me a good consultation and spent time explaining the 3 options of treatment I had. One of the option was building a bridge which included 2 crowns and 1 implant - it was invasive but, he explained, was the best solution. After thinking about it, I agreed and fixed an appointment for the following Tuesday (3 days later) with another doctor, Denise Shiosaky. On Tuesday, I arrived on time, I was asked to pay right away for a treatment I had not received and after a few minutes I was invited to sit on the dentist bed and wait for the doctor. During the following 45 minutes I did very little, a part from signing a long disclaimer which removed all responsibility from the dental practice. Finally, I heard the voice of the assistant from the other room saying that she thought they had made a mistake and I had to pay more... I was baffled, as I had spent 1 hours discussing the cost on my first visit. Nevertheless, the doctor was adamant: I had 2 teeth (not one) missing - which was not true - and therefore I needed to pay for a 4-piece bridge, not 3-piece as previously planned. By then, I felt my irritation rising: I asked the doctor to please come and look into my mouth before she spoke (!) and insisted that I had only one tooth missing. She said the broken tooth had to go because it wasn\\'t strong enough to sustain the bridge.... Not at all what Dr Yang said 3 days earlier - which I pointed out. Confronted with her mistake, she said I had to leave because I was obviously not happy and I would be better elsewhere. I told her what she was suggesting was not very professional and the only reason I wasn\\'t happy it\\'s because I received contrasting information from the other doctor. She still asked me to leave - which I did - not before asking for a full refund, a copy of everything I signed and my X-rays. I need to stress that I had to ASK for a refund and the copy of the documents I signed. When I said I wanted the disclaimer back, because it was a disclaimer about a treatment she refused to give me (not my decision to refuse it!) she angrily asked me to leave. I was treated rudely and unprofessionally in the presence of other customers and employees. I surely won't recommend you ever go there!","rating":1,"date_published":"2012-17-03"}]}
