> Terrible customer service.  Was interested in buying one of the $400 drivers - the guy wandering around (he had nothing on him that indicated he was a store employee) walked up to me and said that using the demo hitting area "might involve an additional charge."  Of course this is nonsense and the guy was messing with me for reasons I can't imagine.  I went to the front of the store and asked for the store manager.  They were perplexed by this question and the gentleman I spoke to was congenial but equally ineffective.  How can a business with this type of inventory be so poorly run?

> I went into Golfsmith/Don Sherwood Golf & Tennis looking for a new tennis racquet for me and my daughter.We were browsing the racquet section while a store worker was stringing a racquet right in the same section.We did not get asked to be helped until about 10 minutes later.And we were not really asked.  When the man asked "are you doing ok" when my daughter started her reply, he began talking to a co-worker.We intended to buy two racquets and while waiting to be asked to be helped, found a cute bag.We left empty handed.We did say we were beginners and wanted light racquets with dense strings for more control but we needed to be pointed in the direction of these types of racquets and wanted to confirm our grip size.But he kept stringing the racquet.  I would understand if a customer was in the store waiting for the racquet but i felt like he could have asked a co-worker to come assist us.Instead another co-worker was closing the gate at the windows and I heard someone counting the change and closing the register.  This was at 8:30 and the store closed at 9:00.So I'm looking for another place to buy racquets!
