My wait time was approx. 1 hr. and 45 min. It was worth the wait and after I was seen,  I realized I could make an appt. for my next visit. I was seen by Dr. Brian Roberts. He was wonderful and I never felt rushed. He took his time, asking me questions listening to me, and explaining my options in detail. Because I have a new granddaughter, he suggested a test to confirm my virus. That will allow my daughter to let her doctor know and she can be treated accordingly. Dr. Roberts wasn't just compassionate but he also has a great sense of humor! It's wonderful to laugh when you aren't feeling well. He also addressed a minor problem I've been having with my ring finger. It's called, Mallet Finger and usually happens when you're playing baseball. He made some suggestions and hopefully my finger will heal without surgery. He gave me a finger splint, bandages and masks, so as not to breathe on my granddaughter or anyone else for that matter. Also, a prescription for an inhaler, to help make me comfortable. He confirmed, you can't take antibiotics when you have a virus, only if you have a bacterial infection. Turns out I have influenza A and pneumonia. Doctors are fine but front and back office personnel are inexperience in handling patient care. They don't care if patient is upset. These staff need to under go customer service training.
