Debra is the proud owner of this excellent business and runs it well. Her no nonsense approach to my car's well being is very much appreciated. I don't know what this other reviewer is talking about, but my experience with this shop has always and will forever be 100% excellent. I needed a new starter motor and asked them to replace it.  The first price they quoted for the part ($350) was so outrageously marked up, I had to begin calling around myself.  Found a part for $125 and they still marked it up $60.  Then to add insult to injury the car did not start the next day.  I had it towed back to Marin Vehicle Repair.  They found the problem, it was their mistake, but they would not pay the $75 towing charge for their mistake.  So to summarize - expensive and overall not a good experience.","rating":1,"date_published":"2008-25-03"}]}
