> Very nice and courteous. However, my Pioneer DEH-1100MP, $185, with a one year warranty, went dark ONE YEAR TO THE DAY I purchased it, after I had to get my car jump-started. The sound was thin, even after adjusting the buttons to their maximums -- not the robust stereo sound of my original car unit. (I had a new one put in for  its MP3 capability.) Pioneer guarantees a year warranty, plus a courtesy 30 days, but they changed their minds, calling and telling me that the dealer was not an "authorized dealer". It will cost me as much as a new one just to find out what's wrong, or simply to replace the fuse, if that's what's wrong. There are lots of choices out there and I am sorry to have chosen this unit and this dealer. I'm just glad this happened before I purchased another one as a gift for someone else next month.
