> worst dentist ever and they rip you off they pretty much  stole thousands $ from me and when we asked about it they just reply we can't do anything about it take it to corporate and we did and still no help DO NOT GO THERE!

> I'm not sure if I have right office, but this is regarding the SmileCare at 3500 S. Bristol #100 in Santa Ana.  It's horrendous how they OVERPRICE their services!!!  My child had a space maintainer which needed to be removed (yes, put in by a different dentist office, more on that office later).  A VERY SIMPLE 30-second procedure, I've seen it done with my older kid before.  Their quote, because they claim it's not covered by my DHMO insurance carrier:  over $500!!!!!  I kid you not!!!  I called my old dental office, West Park Family Dental (at 2413 West 17th St. in Santa Ana -- they are so honest, nice and have great service, I left them because they are farther away), and their standard fee (not because I was an prior patient, I confirmed that) was just under $50!!!!  Almost a $500 difference!This is not the 1st time:  a few years ago, my older kid needed their space maintainer re-installed because it got loose.  Again, Smilecare wanted to charge me some extraordinary amount (I can't remember how much, but at least a couple of hundred dollars).  I again went to West Park and they only charged me $50.  I am definitely switching back to PPO Dental at next open enrollment and driving the extra miles for West Park.  I am serious, take your business elsewhere, because Smilecare can't be trusted!!!  Yes, I should have moved my business earlier -- so learn from my mistake, don't bother wasting your time here.  If you can go to West Park, I sincerely recommend them so much -- the office staff is nice, the dentists are wonderful.
