They are only interested in collecting their payment even when the service and work is not complete...even going so far as to say that the work is done even when it's not.  That's lying.  Now we have to find another shop to finish the repair.  Worst part is that my adjuster and the auto body shop provided really bad service...as if they were in partnership.  Last bad point is that my car was left under the trees so that the birds could crap all over it.  Did they clean the car before handing it over? No, they didn't.  I had to spend another 20 bucks to clean my car.  This place is not very good. I found Walt to be extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy.  My 1997 car was hit (while parked) by an uninsured motorist and came out a toal loss. I am laid off and without significant funds to fix my car or buy a new one with the insurance settlement amount. I kept my car in great condition with low miles, so I wanted to keep it if possible. He helped me to get my car totally driveable and completely cleaned up for next to nothing. Walt also advised me on taking my car to Lara's Auto repair to get the brake and light inspection where they saved me several hundred dollars on a standard part that needed repair before I could get it registered as a salvaged vehicle.  Walt is very helpful and will look into all options for your situation. I'm very happy to have taken my car there. I met Gabe who wrote up the paperwork.  It was quick and easy, very pleasant, professional.    I went to another shop to get a second estimate.   They were rude, added things to the repair that were not needed.   I went back to Hughes, this tome meeting with Walt, who was delightful.   He order parts, I came back in a few days. Dropped the car off, it was finished in two days.   The car looks great.  I am very pleased and would highly recommend this shop!","rating":5,"date_published":"2010-14-10"}]}
