Due to Dr. Ramos' talent & experience, I am a proud parent of a beautiful boy. thank you Dr. Ramos!","rating":5,"date_published":"2013-01-05"},{"author_name":"windowfantasy53","review_text":"I am a health 38 year woman. I've had a history of UNDIAGONISED pelvic pain. Dr Ramos did an exploratory laparoscopic surgery. The results were completely normal. No signs of endometriosis/fibroids/adhesions etc. She insisted that the endometriosis was 'embedded' in the \"tissue\". I saw 2 other gynecologists whom said that a hysterectomy should NOT be done. Dr Ramos insisted that the endometriosis was 'embedded' (which both other DRs questioned what this even meant.) I went ahead and had the hysterectomy....ovaries and all, based on her 'experience.' After the surgery the pathology showed there was NO ENDOMETRIOSIS. I continue to have pain and now and can no longer have children. I feel that Dr Ramos did no research to explore other possibilities for the pain. She was eager to do the hysterectomy from the first day I walked into her office. Of course it was my discussion to have the hysterectomy, because I trusted my doctor.To add to this, approximately 2 weeks after the surgery I went into acute renal failure. She had prescribed a medication that is known to cause renal failure when taken with a medication I was already taking. I went into her office 2 days before the renal failure and she attributed my symptoms to being 'tired' from the surgery. 2 days later, knowing something was NOT right, my husband insisted I go to our local urgent care. I was immediately taken to the hospital. These were two COMMON medications that I believe any MD should have known could cause acute renal failure......Lithium and Motrin (which is almost ALWAYS prescribed after this type of surgery.)Needless to say, this has been a life altering experience and I would recommend an actual GYNOCOLGIST, NOT AN OBSTETRCIAN when making these decisions.","rating":1,"date_published":"2008-15-07"}]}
