Having it at Pozo was everything mentioned... beautiful setting, food that got much praise, good loose hours for reception, fabulous pricing and best of all, great care and service from Rhonda and her crew. They took such unparalled care in communication, details, hosting and cleanup. All this was Gold up til the end of our reception.There was only a handful of people from my party, a few staff and Rhonda remaining at the saloon by 11/12 pm. I was picking up my dressing room before leaving when I got word that their 3 barreled functioning antique pistol which was handed to my maid of honor by bar staff for a photo shoot was missing. My husband and I felt horrible, and although we believed it would turn back up, we got our cars along with our remaining friends and shined headlights around the saloon to search  (we heard it was last seen on the porch). We genuinely tried to help. My Maid of Honor swears it was placed back on the bar. I even called my gifriends and told them to frisk their hubbies (in case liquor was the culprit). Nothing. Best we could do was go back to our hotel and hope for the best the next day. Next morning we were to pick up our decor, cake, and remaining food (we paid for 150 servings and less than 100 showed). After an hour and a half all was loaded in my husbands truck and he decided to leave with the cake as it was melting. I was told to wait for Rhonda for remaining food. At almost 3 hrs from the time we arrived, I was told there was no storage for the food to take. I said, 'no problem, i can drive into town and grab some ziplocks and boxes'. With the saloon was undeniably Slammed with food orders so, I had been patient. I did peek in to see what I was to do and Rhonda told me 'Look you're going to have to come back tomorrow'. She added 'I don't have time for You People'. Now I tend to be a passive person by nature, I was very much taken aback by her tone in that last comment. I see you are busy... I have been fair and quietly waiting... But 'you people'? I lived out of town and did not want to drive back for 2 day old leftovers.  Afterall I did see my hor dourves go home with a staff girl the night before while we were looking for their gun. It was then that a staff member came up to me  and got in my face with a smirk to say 'It looks like you don't give a sh*t about the gun missing'. Rhonda just stood there as if to back her up. Rhonda then mentioned how it was a funcioning gun and said 'ya know I should call the cops, do you think I should call the cops?' as though I should be intimidated by this. 'Of course call the cops, it's a missing working gun'. They had me backed against a wall. Alls I could do was tell my side which they were mocking. WE NEVER ASKED FOR THEIR DAMN GUN. We are honest people. We just wanted to get married. We looked for it as We understood the importance and we continued to look for it. Kids from Pozo were said to have been there too playing with it. Who knows??I tried to call my husband, but with no cell service and being treated like a leper, I just left. You know we have gorgeous photos from our day (some from the venue's photog). So our overall memory is a good one. My husband is still upset by how I was treated. Would I recommend it? Yes. Only if you let them know in advance that THEY are responsible for random items they may offer you and Only if you gather all of your things directly after your event. Don't let details which are beyond your control tarnish your experience. Good luck.","rating":3,"date_published":"2013-23-09"}]}
