She works well with adolescents as well as adults. Anyone dealing with anxiety/phobias could greatly benefit from their work with Heather. While she is direct in her approach, she also brings this gentle spirit quality that really helped me, as a client, feel safe and relaxed. She was always encouraging but I never felt pushed. And it doesn't have to go on and on.I worked with her on a phobia that I had had for many years and within a matter of about 6-8 sessions, it is no longer in my life. She is most definitely the psychologist that I refer my clients to when they are dealing with anxiety disorders, fears, compulsive behaviors,etc. We are fortunate here in Santa Rosa to have someone who is truly an expert in this field. The setting is both relaxing and quiet. I found her to be responsive in a timely manner to phone calls.She also brings her great sense of humor and that goes along way in doing this kind of work!
