> Dirty. I used to love CJs but cannot eat at any in Stockton any more. I have tried 3 different CJs in town and all times my sides were inedible and thrown away. I have tried, in the past, to resolve the issue but got no where at the store level so finally contacted the parent company, Hardy's. I was advised that someone in management of the franchise I visited would contact me regarding the issue but a call never came. They do not change their fry oils when needed and/or do not clean out the fryer correctly before adding new oil. When you get your potatoes or onion rings and they stink badly of dirty oil smell and are darker in color it is a clear sign that they are not tending to their fryers accordingly. This is a problem because it could make you ill. Please solve this training issue so we can enjoy your business again some day. It is disappointing because at one time CJs was my favorite. So since nothing has changed I am no longer going to speak with anyone from CJs or Hardy's, instead the next time I try to eat at any of your establishments and have this experience again I will be reporting your business directly to the health department and ask that if anyone has this experience either at CJs or any other eatery for that matter I encourage you to share. I have had this experience in other businesses more frequently these days and cutting expenses by pushing your fryer oil limits is unhealthy and we should start reporting all these types of establishments.
