Do not. I repeat, do not stay there or subject your loved one to that kind of mistreatment. That was the worst Nursinghome that I've ever stayed in. If you don't speak Filipino you won't even know what's being said. I never knew if they were talking to me or about me. I never saw my doctor. The cna's were rude and unprofessional. Therapy was subpar. Had lots of things stolen The nurses were watching the residents but who was watching the nurses? Social services was a joke. The food was good. The End.","rating":1,"date_published":"2016-02-03"},{"author_name":"Margie W.","review_text":"My  mom was a resident at Good Samaritan Rehabilitation Center in Stockton.  They are understaffed and not properly trained.  My mom had contractures on her hands.  Instead if giving her the therapy she needed, they overmedicated her.  They put gauze in her hands and covered her hands up so I could not see.  They neglected to cut her fingernails and they neglected to change her gauze.  They also failed to provide good hygiene care for my mom.  She got a serious urinary tract infection and wound up in St. Joseph's Hospital.  The nurses at St. Joseph's hospital called me and told me that my mom's fingernails had been allowed to grow into the palm of her hand and that the bandages had been left on so long that they had infused and grown into my mom's tissue's.  The tips of my mom's fingernails were literally rotted off.  My mom became septic and died as a result of their lack of care.  THIS FACILITY IS DANGEROUS.  DO NOT PUT ANYONE YOU LOVE IN THERE!","rating":1,"date_published":"2014-03-10"},{"author_name":"tomlinsonfamily","review_text":"This is an excellent facility that has friendly staff and stable management. The last place I had my grandmother in lied to her about her share of cost and were caught for medicare fraud.  Added to that her previous facility never seemed to know who was in charge since they had frequent change of management.  Good Samaritan clearly explained all residents rights including share of cost, etc upon admission which none of the previous 6 facilities my grandmother was in did until several months later. The staff were friendly and dignified at all times and most importantly we learned that most of them have worked at Good Samaritan for over 20 years including the management. We were able to witness two department of Health Inspection Surveys during my grandmothers stay and the staff didn't act any different than they do everyday.  It isn't the fanciest facility on earth but the food was good, the staff were caring and friendly and were professional. My Grandmother had excellent nursing care and Rehab therapy. She entered that facility incontinent and unable to walk with several pressure sores. She was able to literally walk out of that facility continent with no pressure sores  within her 100 days of Medicare.  It's no wonder why Good Samaritan had maintained their 5 Star Rating for several years.  I think whoever complains about this facility are probably some of the homeless types who find out later after admission they can't get their money for booze and alcohol like they could if they weren't in a Nursing Facility and for them I have no sympathy for.","rating":5,"date_published":"2013-27-08"}]}
