> Spare yourself the unpleasant experience.  I don't know whether Nancy was off her rocker, or just dishonest and deceptive.  I called her earlier in the week looking to consign some items.  She let me know that I get 60% and she gets 40%.  To make the long story short, I brought my things in, she took 3 minutes looking at them, and told me they were basically worthless.  She then charged me for an appraisal!!!  She told me it was $15 to look at them!  I was bewildered and shocked.  When I told her we had never talked about an appraisal, I specifically spoke with her only about consignment.  She said something about her time and that she would take $5.  My husband gave her the $5 and we left.  I still have such a sour taste from the whole experience, and would not wish it on my worst enemy.
