I love the nice clean store, everything is easy to find. They have a doggy bath which I frequent. It's always clean and they have the soaps available as well as a doggy blow dryer. They have a groomer in back and a room in the middle for puppy vaccines which I use as well. I haven't used the groomer yet. They seem understaffed. It would be nice if they had someone to answer the phones or man the desk to field questions. That's the only negative I've run across. Their prices aren't any higher than other pet stores and in my experience they have been lower actually. Firstly, way too expensive for their products, which I can buy the same exact item, at Target for less. Secondly, the staff is inexperienced and incompetent. If you ask the same question, you'll get several wrong answers from each staff member. Thirdly, their "Buyback Dog Food Program" is a joke! Don't do it!! They lie, to get you to buy more. The purpose is, after you bought 12 bags of dog food & saved the upc labels. $300 later... they inform you that the 13th bag is free. But, its the smallest pound bag they have. It doesn't matter what size bags you previously bought... EFFING RIP OFF!!!!!! (along with a dog, fish tank and reptiles) I needed a LOCAL place to shop for my pets. I went into Pet Extreme for the first time a coupld of weeks ago & was treated great!! The girl that was helping me was very helpful & made sure I was happy & content with what I was purchasing. And the review below me (the positive one) is right! On thing she didn't know that I had asked her wasn't a problem at all!! She found a co-worker that knew exactly what I was asking about & gave me a fully informed answer! I will continue to shop here & am happy with the service. Also love that they allow your pets to shop with you!
