They referred me to one of their pond specialists who I paid $85 to come out to my home and tell me what I needed to do to fix my pond and how much it would cost.  The guy was very knowledgeable and told me I need to buy a more expensive liner from the shop.  He measured my pond and gave me the measurements and price it would cost about $450.  A few weeks later I put the money together and go to the Mystic Koi shop and ask for the materials he had listed, but instead of costing $450 it was over $650.  I called the pond specialist right away to find out what was going.  He said he made a mistake, but he would pay for the whole thing and asked to talk to Ryan the person working the register.  I hand him the phone and he says okay.  After he hangs up I tell Ryan that I don’t want to take advantage of anyone and will pay $450.  Ryan goes on to berate me and call me names and say I am d00chebag and am taking advantage of the pond specialist.  He then tells me it is going to be $490.  I told him I was willing to pay $450.  He said that is the tax.  At this point I am tired of being insulted and being treated poorly.  I came in with a budget in mind based on the expert opinion of the person they referred to me.  Instead of honoring the price, they insulted me in front of my 4 and 8 year old children.  In the end I walked out hands empty.  The whole experience was very unprofessional and frustrating!  To go to a specialty shop like this for their expertise, but instead I got misinformation and foul language.  I hope your experience is better than mine!","rating":1,"date_published":"2014-18-06"}]}
