> Warning. Building contractors who work in Upland will get scammed into purchasing a city business license. That's not the issue. They will charge $15.00 for "processing", then tax you for $75.00!! (Tax?.. that's a clever word for swindle.) Oh, but wait, there not done. They also charge you a extra $1.00 for using a credit card. They forget to mention that. They could at least post that before you hand over your card. But then, they couldn't squeeze the last dollar out of you..
