> Posted recently at $3.35/gallon. Seemed too good to be true. It was! Before my neighbor and I drove there, we both called and asked what the price of regular gas was and if any restrictions applied. No restrictions; price same as posted. When we got there it was $3.77 or $3.62 (.15 less with an expensive car wash); not the posted amount. I asked why the difference?... Got a "story". I asked about the price quoted in the phone calls. I was told he never talked to anyone or gave a price out. I do not know if this is a scam or not, but many more vehicles were in this station; when compared to others in the area. This is a high profile station, on a busy street, just off a high traffic volume freeway on/off ramp. Beware of this station's posted prices. It just may cost you much more than you expected, if you think you are getting a "teaser" price and do not ask before you pump. It "only" cost me a few miles and about 20 minutes; much better than pumping ~20 gallons. Glad Costco was only a couple miles away. I will not be back at this station again.  BUYER BEWARE!!!
