> We bought an expensive set tempur pedic bed set with mattress in 2006, costing us 5000 from Mattress Gallery, now Spencers in Ventura.  We were told that the product had 10 years warranty. It has worked fantastic and we have been very happy with it until last month when one of the beds malfunctioned. We tried to call legget & Platt to see what they can do, but, they told us to call the retailer. We tried since we have all the paper work from the purchase and it seem that the company now has changed names and moved on.  We are greatly disappointed at this service and that the product was sold to us under false pretenses. We would have never purchased it if we knew that product only had 2 years warrnt according to Plagett and Platt. Maybe the manufacturer should oversee the sales of their products with their retailers. Say the least, we are not happy with the purchase frm the retailer and expect a brand such as Tempur Pedic last to the day its warranty runs out. Not happy with retailer.
