Two recommendations for surgery from reputable veterinary clinics, St. Francis clinic sent me to C.A.R.E. (our emergency clinic here in SB, C.A.R.E. sent me to VMSG for what I thought was going to be a life saving surgery, Instead, I got the run around and \"an estimate\" for a multiple thousand dollar procedure that they didn't deem an emergency (as the other clinics did but were booked.) Two days later, the dog was dead. Now the clinic sent me to collections for a full exam. I DIDN'T NEED THE EXAM IF YOU WEREN'T DOING THE SURGERY BECAUSE I HAD ALREADY HAD TWO VET EXAMS THAT DAY FROM TWO DIFFERENT CLINICS! C.A.R.E. SENT ME TO YOU AS THEIR SURGEON WAS BOOKED AND QUITTING THE NEXT DAY. I DIDN'T NEED YOUR EXAM IF YOU WEREN'T GOING TO DO THE SURGERY! I came on a Thursday and you said you could do surgery on TUESDAY! I could have had surgery in SB on TUESDAY!!I could have done the surgery MYSELF!","rating":1,"date_published":"2009-16-04"},{"author_name":"larrydeering","review_text":"Unbelievable service and care for our pet!
