We called and spoke with Dean and found him to be knowledgable and very helpful. Our designer, Fernando Diaz & Associates wanted us to get a Starphire glass, which is a whiter, clearer glass, but we wanted a quarter inch clear on the bottom, a quarter inch of broken glass, or Krackle and a quarter inch of clear on top all fused together. What he delivered was a piece of art that blew us away and, at a price that was at least 20% better than his competitors, delivered as promised and quite fast too. We highly reccommend 55 Glass to anyone. I train retail store owners in World Class Customer Service and I can say, without a doubt, Dean and crew, deliver Planetary Class Customer Service. We needed a custom size but wanted an extraordinary artsy kind of piece. We came upon 55 Glass and my wife spoke with Dean who was so helpful and knowledgable, she was thrilled. She asked if a glass top can be made with a quarter inch of clear glass, a quarter inch of broken or what is called Krackle and a third layer of clear on top, all fused together. Dean assured her it was not a problem and created a Starphire table top that is truly a work of art and, to top it off, was lower than any competitor we called, by 20%. I train retail store owners in what is known as World Class Customer Service and I can say without a doubt, Dean provides Planetary Class Customer Service. We needed a variety of pieces done over a short period of time for a grand opening and each piece was perfect. The sizes, glass colors, bevels, and quality of glass really made it worth the expense. They gave us the best price in Los Angeles and backed up their promise to deliver on time. We have dealt with glass replacement companies in the past and were satisfied, however these guys really did a bang up job on our custom ordered glass needs. Then to save a little extra money, I took a trip to downtown L.A. to pick it up, and I’m glad I did. Smack in the middle of the industrial area I found a huge warehouse filled with enormous stalls and crates of glass. It looked like a building supply for the Emerald City. It was cool. I spoke with Dean and he was so helpful, pleasant and informative. He even referred me at first to someone closer to me to make the job more convenient for me, but after calling the referral place I found them to be SO incompetent and unresponsive and I called Dean back and asked him to PLEASE take the job even though it wasn't as convenient for me. He did and am I HAPPY! The glass fits perfectly ( it was a custom order) and looks terrific! His price was SUPER reasonable and a lot less than the more convenient place he had referred me to! The order was ready BEFORE the date he had estimated. What a pleasure to find such quality in both product and customer service, as well as in value! Bravo for 55Glass!
