On Saturday's I will spend the whole day at New U, I start by going to the 9 am Zumba class they have then I will work out with my personal trainer. I will then transition to the relax and rejuvenate phase of my day by relaxing at the oxygen bar from there I will either go to the full body massage suit or the infrared sauna, and around 3pm I will end my day by detoxifying my body with their foot detox machine. The only concern I had was, with my money situation being tight I could not afford to sign up for another membership. However the owner worked with me to come up with a flex plan membership that I am very thankful for. I was searching for places that had an Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber for my son who suffers from Autism. I happen to stumble across New U Rejuvenation Center. It is located in a quaint well lit area with beautiful landscape.While my son was in the Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber I took this time to take a tour of place to take in all of this new equipment I had never seen. Jann who gave me the tour informed me that they often have specials and at this time they were having a 2 for 1 special if i purchase any service or membership they would give me a free one. Who can turn down free. I ended up purchasing the beauty pass for my self and receiving the day pass free for my husband. There was something for all of us to do, I started by getting a manicure and pedicure while my husband worked out with a personal trainer on the Whole Body Vibration ( A work out that you HAVE TO experience). In the mean while my son was having a blast at the oxygen bar experimenting the different flavors of oxygens. After my husband work out and my mani/pedi we went up stairs were where my husband tried the pneumatic massage a massage suit that made him feel like he was being massaged by 8 hands at once. While he was getting his massage I laid in there Jade Infrared Sauna, where I lost calories and felt very relaxed. To end our day we all went back down stairs where my husband, son and I tried there foot detox. At first I was a bit unsure it looked very gross all of this stuff coming out of our foot in to the water but when they explained to me the benefits, I jumped in the water. I would much rather have all the bad stuff out of my body then in my body. New U is almost like disneyland they offer so many relaxing holistic things that it is hard to find time to experience it all in 1 day. I recently went in for a day pass, which entitled me to four different services, and had the most fit yet relaxing and pampering day ever!I was first intrigued by the location it was in, it is very private and has plenty of parking space, except on Thursday nights, it tends to get pretty hectic when both Iron Fist and New U are open. The facility is huge and has a number of different amenities that range from fitness to therapeutical services. I was able to first experiment a workout on the whole body vibration machines they have, which are pretty intense but very beneficial. I was then taken upstairs to enjoy a FABULOUS back massage, lye and burn calories in the wonderful Jade Infrared Sauna that is available in the day pass as well, and was finally able to finish off my day by detoxifying my body with a foot detox. It's pretty yucky but totally worth getting the toxicants out of your body. The price's were really reasonable for the services I was given.
